Wheelie- The Movie!

It had to happen I suppose.... Flyde and Wear Council have produced a DVD on how and where to put rubbish in bins.
The step by step guide shows a recycling officer rummaging through the kitchen bin of a householder to show her what items should be recycled in the council supplied bins and boxes.
Mathew Sinclair of the TaxPayer's Alliance said *These DVDs ... are sure to end up in the bin".A council spokesperson said, "Waste management is one of the biggest issue facing local government and this is an innovative way of assisting in facing that challenge.
You don't need a DVD to fit a BinScents Wheelie Bin Freshener. Just remove wrap, and snap it onto the clip - we figure you understand the rest without a training course. Buy one today for only £1.49 at Tesco or direct from our website http://www.binscents.co.uk/

Wheelie Bin Shortage - Europe Wide Crisis!

Now we all may have to share our wheelie bins due to a shortgage caused by growing demand on mainland Europe.

Nationwide, council stocks are in decline.

The crisis affects both large wheelie bins and smaller, black recycling bins, unless your in an area with large black wheelie bins and smaller green recycling bins, or if you have blue recycling bins and red - oh ... never mind, the point is that we are facing an increasing shortage.

Town halls suggest sharing bins (if you know a small eater), using black bags (if your bin men don't have elf 'n' safety issues) or driving to the dump (burn more fuel to help save the planet?).

There is some panic in Lancashire as 8,000 new householders have been told that they will have to wait for eight months before receiving a bin.

The stoic residents of Derby and Leeds are also binless as their councils have completely run out.

The sensible corporation farmers of Wear Valley had a crop of some 15,000 bins stockpiled in a field but they too have been badly depleted.

Robert Bull of supply company wheeliebins.com said, "its an absolute nightmare at the moment because we are not getting any through, It's been getting steadily worse since May".

Increasing thefts are being reported as desperate householders resort to crime to aquire a bin. A black-bin market is also being reported.

BinScents Ltd don't sell bins, legal or otherwise, but we can ensure that those fortunate households who still have a bin can enjoy piece of mind in that their bin is protected from bad odours and germs (although not from bin thieves).
