Police were called to Lister Road council depot in Dudley when workers discovered a pair of thirsty Afghan stowaways, living in two bins which were part of a wheely bin delivery from France.
An unamed council employee sais *I couldn't believe my eyes. We opened the doors and there they were, among hundreds of those green wheelie bins".
The stoways are being held by the immigration services but officials refused to say where they had been taken to.
