Residents Forced To Share Wheely Bins

Lewisham council has asked residents to share their wheelie bin with their neighbour due to a European shortage.
A fire at a major wheely bin production plant in France combined with increased demand for bins across has led to a shortage in Lewisham. The council is now asking residents to share their bins with neighbours until new ones can be delivered.
Councillor Susan Wise said: "Unfortunately, the shortage of bins is affecting the whole of the UK, and not just Lewisham.
"If your neighbour has a bin, please ask them if they would share it until yours is delivered."
The shortage is affecting both domestic, black wheelie bins as well as green recycling ones.
Lewisham council doesn't expect to get a delivery until November.
Green Party councillor Darren Johnson responded to the news and said: "Lewisham seem to have got themselves into a real mess.
"I would like to know why the council has entered such an inflexible contract that they can't go elsewhere for supplies. "
BinScents Ltd don't supply wheelie bins, but our Wheelie Bin Fresheners will ensure that the fine people of Lewisham are not embarrassed by unpleasant pongs when their neighbour opens their wheelie bin to pop in the rubbish! The unique blend of tea tree oil and real fruit extract helps to mask odours while combating germs and bacteria such as E-coli.
